Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
Mako Logics LLC (“Mako,” “we,” “us”) is a managed IT services company headquartered at 550 Club Dr #264, Montgomery, TX 77316. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through makologics.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy covers visitors to our website and people who inquire about our services. Information handled on behalf of our managed clients is governed by our Master Services Agreement and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement (HIPAA) or similar contractual instrument — not by this policy.
1. What we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
When you fill in our contact form or email us, we receive: name, business email, phone number (if provided), company name, service need, approximate organization size, industry, and the message you wrote. We also log the timestamp of the submission.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit makologics.com our hosting provider and analytics tools collect standard technical data: IP address, user-agent string, pages visited, referring URL, approximate location (from IP), and timestamps. We use this data in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to keep it working.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
Our analytics is configured to avoid third-party tracking cookies and persistent identifiers. Our hosting platform may set a small number of essential cookies for site reliability and security. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels.
1.4 Reviews and ratings displayed on the site
We display our Google Business Profile rating and review count on the site via the Google Places API. This fetches public data about Mako Logics from Google; it does not transmit any information about you to Google.
2. How we use the information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule a conversation if appropriate.
- Send the transactional email confirming we received your message, and follow-up email related to your specific inquiry.
- Improve the site and the services we offer (for example, noticing which industries inquire most often).
- Meet legal, contractual, or regulatory obligations (for example, keeping records of business communications).
We do notuse the information you provide through our contact form to send marketing communications you didn’t ask for, to sell your data, or to share it with third parties outside the narrow set listed below.
3. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the website and respond to inquiries, and only to the extent required for them to do their job. Each of these providers is contractually obligated to protect the data and use it solely to provide their service to us.
- Vercel— website hosting and infrastructure analytics.
- Supabase— managed Postgres database where contact submissions, leads, and site content are stored.
- Resend— transactional email delivery for the notifications we send you and the lead-notification we send internally when your form submission lands.
- In-house analytics — we run our own page-view and event tracking inside our Supabase database. We record which pages you visit, which CTAs you click (phone calls, schedule clicks, contact-form submits), and basic Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) for performance monitoring. We use a per-tab session id, your IP, your user-agent, and (when Vercel resolves it) your country code. Cookie-free, no third-party analytics vendor. Records are retained for 30 days for behavioral data and longer for conversion events.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot-detection challenge embedded on the contact form and the admin login. When you submit one of those forms, Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser characteristics, and a token from the challenge widget so it can verify the request is coming from a person, not an automated bot. Used only to gate form submissions.
- Google Places API — reads our public Google Business Profile rating. Does not transmit information about you.
- Google Geocoding API — admin-only. When our team adds a new service area using the map picker in the admin panel, latitude/longitude coordinates are sent to Google to resolve the corresponding city, county, and state. No information about site visitors is sent to this API.
- Cloudflare— DNS and edge security for makologics.com.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers. We will only disclose personal information to law enforcement or a court if legally required and after narrowing the request to what is specifically compelled.
4. Data retention
We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as we reasonably need them to respond, document the inquiry, or meet legal or regulatory obligations — typically no longer than seven years. Technical logs (IP address, user-agent, pageviews) are retained for shorter windows per our hosting and analytics provider defaults.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email support@makologics.com from the address we have on file (or provide enough information to verify your identity). We will respond within 30 days.
You can also ask us to stop sending follow-up email at any time — reply to any message from us with “unsubscribe” or email us directly.
6. Security
We protect the information you share with us using the same controls we recommend to our managed clients: encrypted transport (TLS), encrypted-at-rest database storage, multi-factor authentication on our admin accounts, least-privilege access for our internal team, and ongoing monitoring for threats. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we’d want ours treated.
7. Children
makologics.com is a B2B site not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
8. International visitors
Mako Logics is based in Texas, USA. If you visit our site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the site you consent to that transfer.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices, vendors, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on this page with reasonable advance notice.
